You can try what's in that thread and download from impulse anywhere but even then, when you install the product to the new computer you will still have to revert to a computer with internet so you can have a VALID activation response.

You can try to use archive and then you wont be able to get impulse running because you have to register over the net. Of what I understand and trust me I've tried many things, there is NO way to install a Stardock Product (I am, myself, refering to Galactic Civilization 2), completely offline to a new computer.
Please someone answer this, as I have already spent too much of my time trying to get to the bottom of this and I refuse to believe it has outwitted the entire technical support staff at Stardock !!! In the above link, the second screen shot down shows a STARDOCK ACTIVATION PAGE.
